Looking for and buying a reliable web hosting, web server solution is an imperative decision. Godaddy.com is now becoming a front runner in the web hosting world. Is GoDaddy.com good? is go daddy.com (sic.) bad? Should you buy into the Godaddy.com web hosting solution? Read this for the pros and cons!

As a web developer, I am asked to recommend a web hosting solution very often - more than I would like to be honest. But, nonetheless, I know my clients need a reliable web hosting service that will allow online visitors to browse through their site effortlessly. Go daddy web servers are fast and reliable. They have hosts in Fast Asia Pacific-based servers that are State-of-the-art Security. India, China etc are the countries whose population is becoming Internet addicted. So, it made sense to Godaddy.com's web hosting solutions to base some of their web server there. Hince the FastHosts terminology used by me here.

If you need free host service, look nowhere else. Godaddy.com offers free host servers. When you purchase a domain name (which is not required to do) you immediately get a free host with it. At the time of this writing, go daddy is offering a free web hosting service. Email me if this has changed by the time you got to this writing. Free host by goDaddy.com is available when I last checked it at this date. but is Free host really what you want? Before you give out your business information to some host company, please review the free host services out there because Go daddy free host service is not the best out there. on the Internet

Canadian Web Hosting Services - Netfirms $4.95 for your web site

I recently purchased a web hosting package from a Canadian Company based in Toronto, Ontario, which also has offices in the United States, and many counteries world wide, for my web site. I wanted to see what is it like to have an online presence for my small business but I have already tried several different web hosting companies such as BlueHost, PrimeHost, and many others. I was aware of the type of packages I can expect and none of them had the flexibility I needed for the type of design, coding and programming language I was using for my web site. Unfortunately, I was one of many small businesses that use two different platforms for programming. My struggle begins there.

It takes a lot of research to find a web host that will allow me to use my programming skills, ASP/ASP.net/2.0 without a struggle, considering I did not want to be limited to that either. You see, I not only have programs written in ASP.NET 1.2, I also have quite a bit of stuff written in PHP backed by a lot of data stored in MySQL format, so it was important that I can put it all up and have things functioning. Unfortunately, that is not easy, as it almost impossible to have a host that recognizes this need.

Unfornately, most web hosting companies offer you a) Linux/Unix based web hosting, or b) Windows IIS plus ASP.NET web hosting. This meant for me, I would have to convert all of my MySQLand PHP stuff to .NET Plus MS SQL or do exactly the opposite before I shop for a web host. You see the delimma?

Fortunately, after researching a web host service that combines both plattforms for one web site, like my small business site, I finally heard from a friend's friend, believe it or not, that there is only one company out there that can satisfy my need. The Name? the Internet's Best kept secret, NetFirms.

So, I quicly contacted through telephone, and spoke with their representatives. I realized that this company, to say the least, is probably one of the smartest group of people when it comes to web hosting, as they combined the two platforms, Linux and Windows. Confused? I think you need to check them out.

Yes! You heard it right!

It seems many developers want to deploy their projects on Windows Servers but also have some work done on PHP or the like that many web hosting companies are hosting on Unix/Linux manchines. This was one of the down sides to thousands of web hosting companies as they offer either, Unix/Linux web hosting or Windows Based. So you have to choose, and when things change for your company in terms of the software and the programming language you want to implement, choose again!

Well, my findings now show me that Netfirms is trying to gab the bridge by making both Windows and Unix work together under the same package. So you can deploy programs and applications written for both platforms with no hussle.

I am hearing alot of good stuff about BlueHost Web Hosting, and I think you should check them out. It may be worth a few minutes of your time if you are considering on getting a web site up an running. Better suited for beginners apparently. I personally have not tried them myself but apparently, from what I hear from people who already have accounts with them, their customer service and techsupport people are very courteous and friendly, and best of all knowledgable and have authority to act on your behalf when the time comes. Please, do not take it from me, check them out yourself, find their contact and call them if you have to.

This is my first time doing blogging! Yeah I am way late and I am one in a million, or a few millions, but here is what I will start with. I will research this Web Hosting service. Netfirms. First of all, a bit of a background about this company. They are based in North America having offices in the US and Canada. Apparently, they are hooked up with big wireless companies in both countries and therefore have probably, the biggest servers out there. So I will be looking for a few things to compare with other web hosting services. I ask you, the reader, or the guy/girl sitting behind you, (not the wall) to help me!
