I recently purchased a web hosting package from a Canadian Company based in Toronto, Ontario, which also has offices in the United States, and many counteries world wide, for my web site.

Yes! You heard it right!

It seems many developers want to deploy their projects on Windows Servers but also have some work done on PHP or the like that many web hosting companies are hosting on Unix/Linux manchines. This was one of the down sides to thousands of web hosting companies as they offer either, Unix/Linux web hosting or Windows Based. So you have to choose, and when things change for your company in terms of the software and the programming language you want to implement, choose again!

Well, my findings now show me that Netfirms is trying to gab the bridge by making both Windows and Unix work together under the same package. So you can deploy programs and applications written for both platforms with no hussle.

I am hearing alot of good stuff about BlueHost Web Hosting, and I think you should check them out. It may be worth a few minutes of your time if you are considering on getting a web site up an running. Better suited for beginners apparently. I personally have not tried them myself but apparently, from what I hear from people who already have accounts with them, their customer service and techsupport people are very courteous and friendly, and best of all knowledgable and have authority to act on your behalf when the time comes. Please, do not take it from me, check them out yourself, find their contact and call them if you have to.

This is my first time doing blogging! Yeah I am way late and I am one in a million, or a few millions, but here is what I will start with. I will research this Web Hosting service. Netfirms. First of all, a bit of a background about this company. They are based in North America having offices in the US and Canada. Apparently, they are hooked up with big wireless companies in both countries and therefore have probably, the biggest servers out there. So I will be looking for a few things to compare with other web hosting services. I ask you, the reader, or the guy/girl sitting behind you, (not the wall) to help me!
